NAVACHAR SANSTHAN

Initiating its work with two villages, today Navachar Sansthan is operating in over 100 villages of all three development blocks of Kapasan sub-division, namely Kapasan, Rashmi and Bhopalsagar through its various development programmes. Since its inception the organisation is working on issues of agriculture enhancement, land and water management, animal husbandry and agrarian economy, women and child issue, self help groups, livelihood, adolescent and youth friendly health service and their issues, HIV/AIDS, and dalit and tribal rights. It has also promoted the development of skill related capacity of village level groups and ensured the participation of women on issues related to employment and socio-economic equity. Along with these Navachar also works to develop capacity of people’s organisations formed in its area of operation and does networking at the state and national levels for the success of their efforts.
